Did you enjoy the stories contained in "The Management
of Mergers and Acquisitions” ?
If your answer is "Yes", I hope you will read this latest
one. If your answer is "No", then why are you reading
this? (Just kidding …)
The short story below is told from the viewpoint of a mergers and
acquisitions consultant. It is built around two themes:
- The first deals with the way work is organized within teams
working on mergers and acquisitions; the lessons learnt are just
as useful for consultants as for the buyer's in-house teams.
- The second theme is not a management issue, but I felt it was
important to raise a serious topic permeating the financial community
and in particular the world of mergers and acquisitions. You'll
understand more as the story unfolds.
Happy reading – even to those who answered "No"
to my first question…
